Happy New Beer!
We are already in the 3rd week of January and I hope this post is not too late and will still serve its purpose. Every beginning of the new year we all tend to be productive because its a fresh start, and everyone is rejuvenated by the long holiday break. This is the time of the year when we all write down our resolutions, next travel trips, budget plans and to-do list at home and work. If you are looking for some tools that could help manage all your notes, this post is for you. I will share some apps and tools that I utilize at home and at work.
On my Mac/ Windows laptops:
- I use sticky notes/ stickies for offline use and for any new tasks or ideas that pop up from time to time.
- Lino (http://en.linoit.com/) works like an online post-it and is very easy to use.
- Evernote (https://evernote.com/) is the best tool that I use for work, because you can sync it with your Outlook and dump all pending tasks with just one drag! Morever, there is a desktop version, and app for mobile users.
- Google Keep - to sync with my other Google products like Gmail, Docs and Drive.
I installed the following apps on my Android phone and iPad for on-the-go situations:
- Evernote Penultimate - when you prefer handwriting than typing.
- Soundnote - perfect for recording lectures, melodies, and if you are too tired to use your fingers - just say it!
- Samsung S memo/ iPad notes - perfect for grocery, things to buy and weekly chores

There are thousands of productivity apps and tools available in the Internet but just a piece of advice: its never the quantity; it's all about choosing the right app that will suit your style of taking notes. Make sure to sync your apps and tools with your laptop/ handheld devices' calendar to be more effective. Have a good time while getting things done and give yourself a huge pat on the shoulder each time you tick off accomplished tasks.

You think you have better app and tools to share? Need a tutorial on how to use these tools? Feel free to write it down in the comments section.
I wish you all a very productive year! Happy New Beer and till next ish!
